This website was designed using Adobe Photoshop and is written in PHP with MySQL as database. Markup is written by using HTML 5 syntax.

Frontend effects and Ajax magic is done by jQuery. Page rendering is powered by the template engine Smarty.

About

My name is Korbinian Schmid. I am 25 years old and I was born and raised in Munich. After high-school, I studied three years Computer Science at the University of Augsburg. During that time I created this website and since then it serves as a kind of a diary, where I mainly publish articles about personal experiences. I'm a passionate traveler and love exploring new countries and meet new people. Sometimes I also write about projects, random thoughts or just some awesome stuff I found on the web.
